And to Name but Just a few

P從某個網頁上的標題問我這句話的意思，
最怕就是這種，整句沒有一個字不懂，卻一點也不懂意思的句子。
不死心，問了印度人，無解。
再不死心，問一個在英國的L同事， 他細心的跟我解釋:
The phrase means your going to give names or words from a big list, but you’re not going to mention all of them.
So for example. If i was trying to sound good in a job interview, I’d say at University i studied power electronics, programming and robotics, and to name but a few of the topics i covered.

超清楚的，我真的佩服英國人的無與倫比的耐心細心和條理。

陷入一種endless的loop
說是因為，太多事要寫還是太多事不要寫? 想也想不透。

回到工程師的工作， 從找躲在硬體裡的蟲子到找軟體裡的蟲子，
其實沒多大的差異。
倒是大概是過三十了，忽然對自己多了些期許。

一點也不介意可以同時被愛，財富和有成就。即便後兩者，似乎是這三十年來的資本主義對我的產物。或者，是源自社會壓力下的期許。

事實上是，我現在急的不得了。
